Kristine Rødland, Editor-in-Chief of Norway’s leading beauty trade magazine, Kosmetikk shared her favourite products from the show floor, combined with insight on the latest beauty trends. If you missed it, here’s a round up of what was discussed and a link to the full presentation:
“I was happy to see more makeup at this year’s show,” says Kristine Rødland, who has 25 years’ experience as a journalist, specialising in beauty and lifestyle trends.
“I even found chunky Eco Glitter on the show floor, which is perfect for the eye catching glitter trend from the catwalks and the festival scene, continuing from autumn to SS19.”
Nordic Eco Footprint is the supplier of this.”
“Another makeup favourite was the Danish brand Sandstone, which has a great selection of products, including a shimmer cream. Their eye shadows seem very well pigmented too.
“There were also more face masks at this year’s show, especially sheet masks, from Lecler and Taiwanese brand Naveen.”
“ProCare showcased many different masks from Yes To – both ‘sheet’ masks, eye masks and regular face masks. They also had a charcoal range targeting the trend for charcoal products, which is still strong. You & Oil, Dr. Organic and My White Secret (distributed by Brand Square) even showed a range of charcoal toothpastes.”
“Probiotic skincare is another trend which is very strong at the moment.”
“I found probiotic face creams from brands like Dr. Organic and kili-g by Biok Laboratorija. And as always there were many wonderful face oils and body oils, for instance by Loelle and Organics by Sara.”
